The pool has been cleared by the health department inspector to fully reopen on Friday, May 28, without Covid restrictions, but with the following caveats:
Common Sense Rules
If you or your guest is ill, do not come to the pool.
Unvaccinated residents and visitors must wear a mask when moving around the pool area, but not while swimming.
Children under 12 must wear a mask when not swimming or seated in a chair.
Do not congregate in high-traffic areas: the pool steps, in front of the bathrooms, at the entrance gate.
Use the hand sanitizer provided near the entrance gate on entering.
Wipe down your chair when you leave.
Remember, all guests other than family must be accompanied by a resident. Bathrooms will be open from approximately 8:30 a.m. when Brian arrives until a few minutes before 8 p.m. when the greeters lock them for the night. You’ll need to bring your new fobs to gain access to the gate.
Note: if there is a surge in the COVID infection rate in Connecticut, or it is observed that the above rules are not being followed, the Board reserves the right to close the pool.
