FOUR PRIVATE BEACHES
Four Beaches residents enjoy year-round access to private beaches on Long Island Sound – perfect for swimming, sun bathing, beach combing and launching small watercraft.
TENNIS COURTS
The Four Beaches’ newly refinished tennis courts sit adjacent to one of our picturesque beaches. Play in a private paradise just steps from your home!
POOL
The Four Beaches pool is located on the bluffs overlooking Long Island Sound and includes poolside showers, restrooms, and a clubhouse. The area is accessible for residents and their families with a secure RFID keychain. High speed internet access is available.
BOCCE
The well-maintained cinder bocce court is situated on the Great Lawn of the Four Beaches property. Balls are available year-round.
THE BLUFF & PICNIC TABLES
Benches and picnic tables are strategically placed around the Bluff overlooking the Sound on the southern side of the property as well as the Great Lawn area. Enjoy a bottle of wine, listen to the peaceful sounds of the water splashing on the rocks, watch osprey and oyster catchers dive for their dinner. Take in the spectacular sunsets. Sunrises are pretty spectacular here, too, and the light-free zone of the Sound makes stargazing an unexpected treat so close to an urban center. Off in the distance you can occasionally catch a ship steaming into New Haven’s Long Wharf port or sailing students from the Corinthian Yale Yacht Club out on maneuvers. Every Wednesday evening, a regatta of sailboats leaving from nearby Branford marina dots the horizon.
GREAT LAWN AND CLUBHOUSE
The Great Lawn area sits adjacent to the bluffs, overlooking the beaches and Long Island Sound. Residents can reserve the clubhouse and Great Lawn for private events. Enjoy special occasions with your loved ones in the breathtaking scenery!
GRILLING STATIONS
The grilling stations are located on the Great Lawn between the pool and Bocce court. Residents can enjoy their meal at one of the new picnic tables that overlook Long Island Sound.
FISHING
The Four Beaches property provides excellent fishing opportunities from the bluffs of the property or from fishing craft. Several nearby marinas offer boat slip rental and purchase.
GARDENING
The Four Beaches property includes large raised and in ground gardens for resident use. Roses, hydrangea, lilies, as well as a wide variety of annuals and perennials bloom from spring through autumn.
BICYCLE STORAGE
Multiple bicycles racks around the facility allow quick access to secure storage.
KAYAK STORAGE
Convenient kayak and canoe storage is available directly adjacent to the beaches, making frequent paddling outings stress-free.
CAR WASH
A car wash station is located in building 2 – for a quick rinse or a full wash.
