CORRECTION: THE JUNE 26 BEACH PARTY TAKES PLACE AT THE EAST HAVEN TOWN BEACH - NOT AT FOUR BEACHES CONDOMINIUMS WHICH IS A PRIVATE COMMUNITY.

As in past years, the East Haven event begins with a beach party at the East Haven Town Beach starting at 1 p.m. There will be food trucks on Cosey Beach Avenue near the Sandpiper Restaurant and a full day of live music, including performances by KENNII, Senior Discount, Take Two and Call Me in the Morning, Head Over Heels, and a Journey tribute band. The 23 minute fireworks show is expected to begin around 9:00 p.m. The fireworks barge will be anchored directly off of the East Haven Town Beach, so the display will be visible throughout all of the East Haven area.

Mayor Joe Carfora announced the event plans: “After the year we have had, I hope everyone can reconnect with their neighbors and civic organizations can get back to working towards their missions, but most of all, that our residents enjoy the entertainment we have planned. Community events are instrumental in building relationships with neighbors, visitors to the town, and creating a sense of pride for this wonderful town we live in. These events also provide a venue for families and residents to experience something they may not have on their own, such as a type of music and theater.”
