East Haven’s 24th Annual Fireworks & Beach Bash June 28th

East Haven, CT – Mayor Joseph A. Carfora and the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 484 are thrilled to announce the return of one of East Haven’s favorite summer traditions — the 24th Annual Fireworks & Beach Bash, happening on Saturday, June 28th. This year’s event promises a day filled with live music, great food, and festive fun for the entire community.

Mayor Carfora shared his excitement: "This event has become a signature celebration for East Haven. It's a time when our community comes together at the beach to enjoy a great day and honor Independence Day. From fantastic bands to an incredible fireworks show, there’s truly something for everyone."

A wide range of food trucks and local vendors will be stationed throughout the day, offering a variety of eats to suit all tastes.

Evening Entertainment Lineup:

• 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM: The Low Darts

• 7:00 PM until Fireworks & After: The Rum Runners

99.1 PLR’s Eddie Sab will be on site with giveaways and music from the PLR tent.

This year marks a new twist to the festivities — live music will continue after the fireworks, with The Rum Runners returning to the stage for a second set following the grand finale at approximately 9:45 PM.

While the Town proudly hosts the fireworks with the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 484, this event is made possible through the generous support of residents and businesses. Donations can be mailed to: East Haven Fireworks, 250 Main Street, East Haven, CT 06512.

Please note that access to the beach area will be limited starting at 9:00 AM due to road closures. The East Haven Police Department will be assisting with traffic control to help ensure a safe and smooth day for all attendees.

Mark your calendars for an unforgettable day at East Haven Beach! In the event of inclement weather, the celebration will move to Monday, June 30th, with limited entertainment and the fireworks show.

Let the countdown to summer’s biggest celebration begin!
