East Haven’s 24th Annual Fireworks & Beach Bash June 27th

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 22, 2026
East Haven, CT – Mayor Joseph A. Carfora is thrilled to announce the return of one of East Haven’s
favorite summer traditions, the 24th Annual Fireworks & Beach Bash, happening on Saturday, June 27th.
This year’s event promises a day filled with live music, great food, and festive fun for the entire family.
Mayor Carfora shared his excitement:
“This year’s Fireworks & Beach Bash carries special meaning as we begin looking ahead to America’s
250th anniversary,” said Mayor Joseph A. Carfora. “It is a time for our community to come together at
the beach, celebrate our country, enjoy great music and food, and show the patriotic spirit that makes East
Haven so special. I encourage everyone to join us for another memorable night on the shoreline.”
A wide range of food trucks and local vendors will be stationed throughout the day, offering a variety of
eats to suit all tastes.

Evening Entertainment Lineup:
• 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Gunn St. Revival
• 7:00 PM until Fireworks & After: The Rum Runners

99.1 PLR’s Eddie Sab will be on site with giveaways and music from the PLR tent.

Since it worked out so well last year, live music will continue after the fireworks, with The Rum
Runners returning to the stage for a second set following the grand finale at approximately 9:45 PM.
While the Town proudly hosts the fireworks, this event is made possible through the generous support of
local residents and businesses. Donations can be mailed to: East Haven Fireworks, 250 Main Street, East
Haven, CT 06512.

Please note that access to the beach area will be limited starting at 9:00 AM due to road closures. The
East Haven Police Department will be assisting with traffic control to help ensure a safe and smooth day
for all attendees.

Mark your calendars for an unforgettable day at the East Haven Beach! In the event of inclement weather,
the celebration will move to Monday, June 29th, with limited entertainment and the fireworks show.
